Course Description
This class is half year program, which is designed to help students develop speed and accuracy in keyboarding as well as learning the fundamental concepts and skills for using Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Paint, and constructing a web-based portfolio. The course will also cover topics such as online safety, digital etiquette, appropriate use of online search engines, and evaluating sites for accuracy and bias.

**Each class will devote 15 minutes to develop typing proficiency and speed.

Be on time and prepared for class

Participate in class and complete all assignments

Respect teachers, staff, as well as peers

Handel school equipment with care and respect

No food/drink/cell phones allowed in the classroom

We do not cheat, copy other people's work, or copy materials from the Internet unless you cite the sources. Otherwise, it is called plagiarism

Only use the computer that is assigned to you.

Printing is only allowed with teacher permission

Streaming music and viewing music videos are NOT allowed without teacher permission.
Assignment Submission
Save all your work into your Student Folder set up on the school network. You will be shown how to save to this drive. From then on it is your responsibility to save to your drive or lose your work and face the consequences of turning in nothing. This class is primarily paperless and all assignments will be turned in online.
